Marcela Perez joins Little Buddha as Design Director. She will be in charge of managing the creative team and the production team.
Thanks to Marcela’s arrival, the agency aims to push its efficiency, the coordination between the design and production departments, and improve the communication between the strategy team and project managers. In other words, getting the best out of everyone and contribute to take the agency to the next level.
Marcela has acquired a large international experience, and has spent most of her training and professional career in Foic Lecanda, Mexico, the best FMCG packaging and branding agency in Latin America, working with clients such as Bimbo, Procter & Gamble, Henkel…
Marcela has gained a complete and unusual experience for a designer profile, as she has managed her own team, and has led (inside the Foic Lecanda structure) each phase of her projects; from briefing, conceptual/strategic proposal and design, to presenting to the clients, monitoring the delivery of final artwork and invoicing. This complete vision of the process, that very few European creatives are actually aware of, allows her to hold a more global vision about management and the reality of each step of the processes.
Marcela was responsible for Procter & Gamble projects in Latin America. Settling in P&G’s headquarters, she has demonstrated her leadership skills and sense of commitment, which are essential qualities for such level of responsibilities.
Marcela says: “I’m really happy to be in charge of managing Little Buddha’s design and production teams. Challenges are what make life so exciting and I know that the one I’m about to take up now will bring success to our company.”
Bertrand Massanes, founding partner of Little Buddha, adds: “the holistic vision of the process Marcela holds, her natural leadership and her commitment will allow us to gain efficiency in order to keep on competing successfully with first range European agencies. Her arrival in the team is part of the improvement, expansion and internationalization plan that we are currently implementing in the agency. I’m really glad about her incorporation, I hope that she’ll enjoy managing the team… and that she’ll win a lot of international competitions. She can count on my full support and a total freedom and autonomy to improve the processes and setting up her team the way she likes.”
